Awards: Here Are The Animation and VFX Nominees for Oscar 2016

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 88th Academy Awards nominations, honoring the films of 2015. This year there is a tough competition in both Animation and VFX categories and successful films are worth to be nominated. Here are the nominees:

This year too Disney bagged huge nominations for films like Star Wars: The Force Awakens with 5 nominations, Bridge of Spies receiving with in 6 categories including Best Picture, Inside Out” in the Best Animated Feature and Best Original Screenplay races. Sanjay’s Super Team for Best Animated Short category, and Cinderella for the Best Costume race.

Unfortunately films like Jurassic World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Good Dinosaur, and Ant-Man didn't made up in animation and vfx. The Oscar ceremony will be held on will take place on February 28, 2016.
