From our childhood till now we always love to see the special section of our new papers, the 'comic strips'. We find it very funny every time, and more funny when a movie is released based on our favorite characters. With the upcoming comic strip movie Peanuts is releasing in 3D animation by Blue Sky Studios in 2015, we have listed out other movie released based on the comic strips.
Created by American cartoonist 'Charles Addams', The Addams Family is a horrifyingly funny version of a ideal American family. The original comic strip was published in The New Yorker between 1938 and 1988. Since then they have changed their route to animated television series and to live action films. The laziest and the sarcastic cat in the comic strips Garfield the hilarious character has been entertaining us through many news papers. Created by Jim Davis, Garfield first appeared in 1978 in a Sunday's page, since then its been ruling in many of the new papers around the world. In 2004, Garfield: The Movie was released by 20th Century Fox, with the main character voiced by the comedy legend Bill Murray.: Here is the trailer:
A perfect name for the perfect boy. Dennis the lovable five year old kid, is a king of mischief in the neighborhood. He always create some menace, which sometime cause hazard to other, specially his grumpy neighbor Mr. George Wilson. He was first seen in 1951 in a daily syndicated newspaper comic strip, created by Hank Ketcham. Later appeared in TV and films. In 1993, Warner Bros. released a live action film of the same name. The famous mystery solver journalist Tintin and his pet dog Snowy had many deadly adventures. Created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, Tintin was first appeared in 1929, as a serialised strips in a youth supplement to a Belgian newspaper. With the success of the strip, The Adventure of Tintin later appeared in other media too. In 2011, legendary director Steven Speilberg directed and produced a motion capture film of the same name. The bald head kid, a dog, and many other friends are crazy enough to make us all laugh. Charlie Brown, snoopy and the rest of the gang made us all amusing. Charles M. Schulz creation Peanuts first appeared in 1940 in Schulz's hometown newspaper. Then animated television series appeared with the same characters, including special episodes.
