Jurassic Park offers you
a complete package of things you expected the film to offer. Right from Jaws to the old Jurassic park, Jurassic word turns out to
be an eventful Journey. The “Indominus Rex” is designed in a way to be the
ultimate soul of the movie albeit with a dramatic logic and an unconvincing
climax.
The movie starts with the
opening of the Jurassic world, a fully functional dinosaur theme park in Isla
Nublar after what happened in Jurassic Park twenty – two years back. The owner
Mr.Masrani (Irrfan Khan) finds it entertaining to run a park where the
attractions likes to eat the guests. Claire (Bryce
Dallas Howard) as the operations manager supporting her owners views by trying
to do everything possible to generate more profits. This happens to be the
reason for the creation of the giant “Indominos Rex” which later on turns out
to be a great liability. Indominos Rex is made of the DNA OF T.Rex and many
more classified creatures. The same time amongst the visitors are Claire’s
nephews. Chris Pratt as Owen is great and has a wonderful screen presence as an
old marine and a friend of the Velociraptors. But the brilliant CG and VFX
stops him from getting more attention than the giant “Indominos Rex”. The
escape of the Indominos Rex from his captivity and the terror he lashes across
the theme park forms the crux of the story.
The
climax seems to be a bit logic defying and the director seemed to be in a hurry
to wrap the movie. The climax is probably the only big bump to an otherwise
joyful ride. The Jurassic world has to be a pleasant experience to those who
have never witnessed the Jurassic Park. For others, it evokes nostalgia with
Steven Spielberg’s classic running all through your head.
