The man behind 'Chacha Chaudhary' is no more

Pran Kumar Sharma, who was known for the creation of the legendary Indian comic book Chacha Chaudhary is no more. He also created other characters like Shrimatiji, Pinki, Billoo, Raman, and Channie Chachi.

At 60s when Indian comic book scenario was based on reprinting The Phantom and Superman,  Sir J. J. School of Art alumni Pran started sketching India's favorite Chacha Chaudhary for a hindi magazine Lotpot. The Indian kids in the age group 10–13 years considered Chacha Chaudhary as their most recognizable comic book character.
Pran Kumar Sharma will be the 'Walt Disney of India' for us. R.I.P.
