After the successful Oscar nominated films like Coraline , ParaNorman  and The Boxtrolls ,   stop-motion animation  studio  Laika is coming up with their fourth feature film  Kubo and the Two Strings . Known for their outstanding stop-motion techniques merging with CGI, Laika Studios brought another level of animation with their upcoming Japanese tale. Starring  Art Parkinson, Matthew McConaughey, Charlize Theron, Rooney Mara, Ralph Fiennes and Brenda Vaccaro.  The film is set to release on August 19, 2016 . As Rovio Entertainment's Angry Birds  film created a lot of buzz with first look image and first film trailer, Sony Pictures released the second trailer. The second trailer shows more character info on the lead bird Red (Jason Sudeikis) who is always angry.  Red along with his bird buddies  Chuck ( Josh Gad ) and Bomb ( Danny McBride )  have always been outsiders    in a small paradise of flightless birds. But they are preparing to fight against the  King Pig,  Leonard ( Bill Hader ), who's arrival with other bad piggies created an evil plan of destruction. And for this mission a Mighty Eagle ( Peter Dinklage ) is ready to guide the bird. The film is set to release May 20, 2016. Check out the first look of DC Comics' Super Queen Wonder Woman . The video was released during  DC Comics'  Dawn of the Justice League  special on the CW. Finally DC Comics and Warner Bros released the second trailer of the crazy superheros film Suicide Squad . With the first trailer giving a glimpse of movie plot and the characters, the second trailer goes more deep into the story line along with the craziness of the villain turned heroes.  DC Comics also released the new graffiti posters for the film. Here it is: Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, and Scott Eastwood.  Also the new trailer shows more of Jared Leto's Joker character which increase the eagerness of watching the film in theaters  on August 5, 2016 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D. The humans behind Despicable Me  series and Minions  are coming up with another comedy adventure film The Secret Life Of Pets . 6 months back Illumination Entertainment and Universal Studios released the first trailer of the films and got great reviews around the globe. Now, they have released the second trailer with the Snowball version which give a glance to audience about plot of the film. This trailer will give a sneak peek of Kevin Hart's character  Snowball, a white  rabbit, who is kind of a rebellious leader.  The film is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2016. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the  88th Academy Awards  nominations,   honoring the films of 2015. This year there is a tough competition in both Animation and VFX categories and successful films are worth to be nominated. Here are the nominees: This year too Disney bagged huge nominations for films like  Star Wars: The Force Awakens with 5 nominations, Bridge of Spies receiving with in 6 categories including Best Picture, Inside Out” in the Best Animated Feature and Best Original Screenplay races. Sanjay’s Super Team for Best Animated Short category, and Cinderella for the Best Costume race. Unfortunately films like Jurassic World , Avengers: Age of Ultron , The Good Dinosaur , and Ant-Man  didn't made up in animation and vfx.
